Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure on GCP. The role requires 6+ years of hands-on experience and familiarity with AWS or Azure.

You will design scalable environments using Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud Run, and implement CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build or GitHub Actions. You will collaborate with engineering teams, architects and clients to deliver secure, cost-efficient and compliant systems, with a focus on observability, IAM

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
• Strong production experience with GCP; exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Deep hands-on Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience designing and securing GCP networks (Shared VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor).
• Strong with GKE and serverless containers (Cloud Run); EKS/AKS/ECS a plus.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions).
• Proficient in Python, Go or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience with observability, logging, metrics and alerting.
• Experience IAM governance in GCP (IAM & Admin, Service Accounts).
• Experience administering Windows and Linux cloud VMs; storage and networking basics.
• Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (6+ years experience) with strong expertise in GCP and working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP to lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

This role focuses on designing and operating secure, scalable, and production-grade cloud platforms, with emphasis on GCP-native services, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, and cloud governance. You will work closely with engineering teams, architects and clients to deliver highly available, cost-optimized, and compliant systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
• Strong production experience with GCP, exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus and willingness to learn and work across other cloud or hybrid environments as needed.
• Deep hands-on experience in designing and managing Terraform based infrastructure provisioning. Experience of configuration management tools such as Ansible is a plus.
• Strong expertise in designing and securing GCP network architectures, including Shared VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Strong experience with container orchestration platforms such as GKE (must-have) and serverless containers like Cloud Run. Exposure to EKS, AKS, ECS is a plus.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Proven expertise in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash to build tailored automation solutions, integrate APIs, and develop custom tooling.
• Experience working with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding and hands on production experience of implementing observability solutions including logging, metrics and alerting using cloud native or open source tools.
• Hands-on experience of identity, access management and governance in GCP IAM & Admin, Service Accounts, workload Identity.
• Experience in administering Windows and Linux based Cloud virtual machines, including Cloud Identity, AD integration, storage, networking, backup, performance optimization, access control, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and managing databases, knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and Hands on experience in incident management, conducting root cause analysis.
• Good communication skills with experience interacting with clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
