Job summary

Digital Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a US-based product team. The role focuses on building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure and guiding CI/CD and IaC practices.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security to deliver reliable deployments, containerized platforms, and robust monitoring. Hybrid work with Pune or Mysore options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps experience with cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge.
• Hands-on CI/CD implementation with GitLab/Jenkins/Travis.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python) and IaC (Terraform).
• Ability to design scalable, secure, compliant infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain HIPAA/HITRUST-aligned cloud infra across AWS/Azure.
• Design and manage scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD architecture and IaC direction.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Support deployment platform development and adoption.

About the Role

The DevOps Team focuses on improving the telemetry and availability of product offerings while contributing to the sustainability of engineering practices across the organization. As the "engineers behind the engineers," we handle a diverse set of tasks from across the DevOps spectrum. In this role, you will work in many contexts, using a variety of tools and technologies to remove obstacles and keep the engineering organization moving efficiently and effectively.

Your day to day

• Build and maintain secure, scalable, HIPAA- and HITRUST-compliant infrastructure on multiple cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to DevOps architecture best practices and support the direction for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design robust infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Python-based scripts to automate testing, validation, and deployment workflows.
• Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, and self-hosted).
• Implement monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Support the design, implementation, and adoption of our custom Python- and cloud-based deployment platform with an eye toward continuous delivery.
• Promote best practices within the team and across the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and security practices.
• Support and share knowledge with team members on DevOps best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our architecture.

What you bring to the team

• 4+ years of development experience, including design of moderately complex systems.
• Solid cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Strong Linux systems administration and networking knowledge.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD systems using platforms like GitLab, Jenkins, or Travis.
• Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Terraform).
• Knowledge of best practices for building efficient, maintainable, testable, and portable applications.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A team-first attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.

Work arrangements

• Standard hours: 9 hours/day, 5 days/week
• Location: Mysore/Pune
• Shift: Your standard working hours will be nine (9) hours per day within the Companys standard working hours. Specific working hours may vary based on business needs.
