thinkbridge is hiring a Mid–Senior DevOps Engineer to design and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automate deployment pipelines. The role emphasizes securing environments, building scalable systems, and mentoring juniors.

You will work in a remote-first setup with learning time and opportunities for certifications, while occasionally visiting in-person team weeks. 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps with focus on infrastructure automation and operations.

Responsibilities

About Role:

Experience Level: Mid - Level - 4+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code. Experienced in building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments and automating end-to-end deployment workflows.

Working Hours: (6:00 PM IST to 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM IST)

What You'll Do

As part of the job

• Design, implement, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure environments (Azure Primary, AWS, Google Cloud) to support the development and deployment of our applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance across multiple cloud platforms.
• Work closely with security teams to implement best practices for securing multi-cloud environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards across multiple cloud platforms.
• Implement highly available and scalable systems, ensuring proper redundancy and fault tolerance across multiple cloud platforms.
• Conduct regular security assessments & vulnerability scanning across multiple cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain security controls and access management policies across multiple cloud platforms.

Automation and Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD):

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to enable faster and more reliable software releases.
• Streamline the software build, test, and release processes, ensuring efficient delivery of software artifacts.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Design, build, and maintain the company's infrastructure using cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and make architectural decisions.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based applications
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and network configurations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, working closely with development and operations teams.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests across multi cloud platforms.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and multi-cloud environments.
• Mentoring junior software developers in gaining experience and assuming DevOps responsibilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members and contribute to the overall growth of the DevOps practice.

Requirements:

Must have technical skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 4+ experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure automation, deployment, and operations.
• Hands-on expertise in architecting and managing cloud-native infrastructure on Azure.
• Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, containerizing workloads with Docker, and orchestrating deployments with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Skilled in infrastructure as code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), implementing Prometheus-based monitoring stacks, and enforcing cloud security controls across environments.
• Strong independent contributor with experience in automating end-to-end delivery workflows, optimizing system reliability, and managing secure, scalable infrastructure at scale.
