Job summary

Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in India to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP. The role requires hands-on GKE/Kubernetes expertise and strong Terraform IaC skills, with a focus on automated delivery and reliable software deployment.

You will develop Python automation, manage Git workflows, monitor health, and collaborate with Europe-based teams. Face-to-face interview in Delhi NCR is required.

Qualifications

• 5.5–8 years of relevant DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on GCP experience is mandatory.
• Extensive production experience with GKE and Kubernetes.
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Solid CI/CD automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skills: GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, Automation, Python.

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP is mandatory and non-negotiable.
• Strong production experience with GKE and Kubernetes.

• Experience working with production-grade cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong ownership and ability to independently drive DevOps/infrastructure initiatives.
• Good English communication skills, as the role involves close collaboration with the Europe team.
• Candidates must be based in Delhi NCR, as one of the interview rounds will be conducted face-to-face at the office.
• The candidate should be comfortable attending the face-to-face hiring drive/interview on 22nd August at the office.
