AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer to design, build, and run scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

The role emphasizes Terraform-driven provisioning, Kubernetes operations, and automated deployments using Helm, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in cloud engineering with strong GCP experience and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), plus knowledge of IAM, networking, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering, with focus on GCP.
• Experience with GCP services and Kubernetes.
• Terraform for provisioning resources and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain GCP resources via Terraform and automation.
• Manage Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and related storage solutions.
• Operate Cloud Load Balancers for high availability.
• Deploy and manage workloads on GKE, using Helm charts and zero-downtime updates.
• Deploy and manage applications on Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.

The mandatory requirements are 4+ years in cloud engineering, strong GCP experience, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation with Terraform and scripting.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years in Cloud Engineering, with a focus on GCP.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Implement Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, filestore for data storage and processing needs, and manage Cloud Load Balancers for high availability and scalability.
• Optimize resource allocation, monitoring, and cost efficiency across GCP environments.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), work with Helm charts, and automate scaling, rolling updates, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Deploy and manage applications on Cloud Run and Cloud Functions and optimize containerized workloads for cost efficiency and performance.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Bash and Powershell scripting, and integrate security and compliance checks into the DevOps workflow (DevSecOps).
