Job summary

Pinmicro KK in India seeks a junior DevOps engineer to diagnose and troubleshoot server issues, deploy and automate services, and support cloud environments.

You will work with Linux servers, AWS, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild, and help optimize deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong English communication and a willingness to learn are essential for growth in our DevOps team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT-related field with 1+ year IT systems experience.
• Experience with Linux-based servers and virtualization.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD automation tools.
• Experience with Apache, Nginx, Tomcat.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Bash, Ansible, or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Technical awareness and ability to quickly understand new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-learning.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot server-level issues efficiently and effectively.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, incident response, and monitoring systems to proactively identify potential issues.

• Keep up to date on modern technologies and trends and advocate for their inclusion within products when it makes sense.
