Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru, India seeks a Mid-Senior-level DevOps Engineer to strengthen cloud-native pipelines and scalable infrastructure. You will work across teams to build repeatable deployments and manage dev and prod environments in a fast-paced agile setting.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in DevOps, strong Linux administration, and hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.), plus Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps with cloud-native focus.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration background.
• Experience with Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Terraform or equivalent.
• Production cloud experience on AWS/Azure/GCP (GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve infrastructure for cloud-based services and client interfaces.
• Collaborate with team leads and management across the company to define shared capabilities.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of our build, testing, and continuous integration environment.
• Work with internal IT, Software Engineers, Cloud Architects, and fellow DevOps Engineers to build & maintain dev & prod environments.
• Implement best practices for always-up, always-available services.
• Proactively communicate project & task status to project stakeholders.
• Occasional on-call support and customer meetings may include irregular hours as needed.

You'll Have:

• Must have a strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
• Must have experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform or an equivalent
• Must have proven experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with production cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred)
• Must have strong experience with at least one programming language: Bash, Python, C#, Java
• Must have experience with development operations of continuous integration, automated testing, and automation of the dev process
• Experience designing and rolling out scalable infrastructure using container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
