Job summary

LUMIQ is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement robust DevOps solutions across internal and external projects. You will focus on automation, reliability, and scalable CI/CD pipelines within a dynamic startup environment.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, cloud, and containerization skills, plus hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Excellent collaboration and communication are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps or platform roles.
• Experience with Linux, container runtimes, cloud providers, IaC, CI/CD.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with BFSI domain and data, Snowflake, AI/ML is a bonus.

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at LUMIQ. As a DevOps Engineer atLUMIQ, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing DevOps solutions across both internal and externalprojects. Your focus will be on building robust DevOps processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and automation withinthe project landscape.You will work at the intersection of automation, system reliability, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, andefficient deployment processes. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in operational workflows and helpdeliver high-performance solutions for our customers.

Requirements

Required skills:

• Sound knowledge of Linux system & networking internals, and Container runtimes.
  
• Experience working with one or more cloud providers - AWS, GCP, Azure.
  
• Hands-on with IAC (Infra as Code) - Terraform or others.
  
• Solid understanding of running apps in container environments, dockerising applications and orchestration usingKubernetes, helm and service mesh deployments.
  
• Open-source tooling and configuration management exposure with nginx or httpd, ansible or others.
  
• Hands-on with development and deployment of CI/CD on cloud or Jenkins and similar.
  
• Server-side scripting using bash, python or equivalent.
  
• Decent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and documentation skills
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  
• 3+ Years of experience in the role of infrastructure, DevOps, platform. Thorough understanding of softwaredevelopment lifecycle and infra engineering best practices.
  

Bonus points (nice to have or preferred skills but not mandatory):

• Exposure working with databases, data analytics and warehousing services on cloud.
  
• Exposure to architectural and systems designing best practices.
  
• Exposure of working in Professional Services.
  
• Familiarity of BFSI domain.
  
• Familiarity and understanding of Data, Snowflake, AI and ML
