Job summary

HealthEdge Software, Inc. is seeking a Sr DevOps Engineer to build and guide CI/CD pipelines for our next generation platform. You will contribute to Kubernetes deployment systems for on-prem and cloud environments and develop templates and automation for production readiness.

The role requires advanced DevOps experience across AWS and Azure, Linux environments, and strong scripting with Python, Shell or Groovy. Bangalore and Pune based with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of solid system design, tools development and leading technical DevOps implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build our next generation CI/CD platform and guide the development of CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Dev to Production configuration templates based on the platform using automation tools.
• Contribute to our Kubernetes cluster deployment system for deploying to on-premises and public cloud providers.
• Work with internal customers to determine needs and translate those into requirements and designs.
• Set up and maintain containerized environments for unit, manual and automated testing.

Role &Responsibilities:

• Build our next generation CI/CD platformand guide the development of CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and Maintain Dev to Production configuration templates based on the platform using automationtools.

• Contribute to our Kubernetes cluster deployment system for deploying toon-premisesand public cloudproviders.

• Work with internal customers todetermineneeds and translate those into requirements and designs.

• Make decisions on problem mitigations in critical down time situations when escalation is impractical.

• Create and deliver knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to developers and operations teams

• Set up andmaintainContainerized environments for Unit, Manual andautomatedtesting.

• Document existing and new OnPrem cloud deployments using playbooks and cloud architecture diagrams.

• Build automated deployments using configuration management technology.

• Automate deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes by mimickingproduction likeenvironment.

• Document and own knowledge transfer to Dev, QA, PS & Operations team.

• Monitor and track key health and performance metricsofsystems and applications.

• Continue to improve operational processes for betterutilizationof underlying cloud resources, Serve as a mentor for team members.

• Oversee theday to daywork ofteamwhile being hands on. Serve asthetechnicalexpert.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degreeBE/B Techor Equivalent experience

Experience:

• 6+ years of solidsystemdesign,Toolsdevelopment andLeadingTechnicalDevOpsimplementation experience.

• DesiredSkill:

• Solid background in implementing infrastructureautomation(Ansible)and code deployment systems.

• Must be strong incloud(AWS,Azureand VMWare).Strong in Linux skills (e.g.RedHat/CentOS).

• Experience withTerraform/CDK,Python,Shell and Groovy.

• Canlead and drivethings. Can connect with the stakeholders and workwith differentstake holders.

• AWS& Azurecertification is a plus.

• Expertisewith building and managing a CI/CD environment (Jenkins,GitHub Action,Code Pipeline,SonarQube, Nexus andAtlassian toolset)

• Strong communicationskills to interact with Agile team members

• Ability to communicate effectively with thoughtfulness and maturity

• Expert and knowledgeable on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models with modern terminology and relevance

• Should have experience of maintaining, backup and restore of servers (Jenkins, Nexusetc)

• Expertisewith AWSand AzureServerless (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS or EKS/AKScontainers)

• Handson experience for Microservices CICD and deployment (Rancher or Helm)
