Job summary

Zeliot is redefining real-time data streaming with Condense, a scalable platform for developers and enterprises. We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep Kubernetes experience to design and maintain pipelines, automate infrastructure and ensure reliable cloud deployments.

You will own deployment automation, monitoring, and security across multi-cloud environments, partnering with software teams to accelerate delivery while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 4+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, IaC and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Istio or Linkerd and GitOps tools.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters across environments.
• Automate provisioning of Kubernetes resources with Helm, customize, or similar tools.
• Implement cluster security, networking and monitoring best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Integrate automated testing, security checks and deployments into pipelines.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Kubernetes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code, and cloud technologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production and development environments.
• Automate the provisioning and management of Kubernetes resources using Helm charts, customize, or other tools.
• Implement best practices for cluster security, networking, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle
• CI, Integrate automated testing, security checks, and deployment processes into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective.
• Maintain version control and documentation for infrastructure configurations.

Monitoring and Logging:

• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent.
• Set up alerts and dashboards to proactively monitor system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
• Cloud Services Management: Design and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost‑efficiency.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with software development, QA, and IT teams to support the entire software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to provide support for production systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Atleast 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. .
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
