Job summary

Luxoft in Mumbai seeks a Senior DevOps Developer to drive CI/CD, automation, and platform engineering across the IB&M domain in a large enterprise services environment. The role focuses on building and operating robust CI/CD pipelines, IaC, deployment automation, and cloud services with standardized release frameworks and AI-assisted automation for operational intelligence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, CI/CD or Platform Engineering in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with GitLab Enterprise, pipelines, runners, and repo management.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD design, release engineering, and deployment automation.
• Experience with AWS/Azure services and container tech (Docker/Podman).
• Strong scripting in Python/Groovy/Bash; IaC and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Oracle/Postgres databases and Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with security/scanning tools and audit/compliance needs.
• Excellent documentation, Confluence/Jira usage, and ITIL awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines across IB&M.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Develop and manage IaC for deployment across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Standardize release and deployment processes for multiple applications.
• Provision and manage AWS and Azure infra, including Kubernetes platforms.
• Build containerized delivery pipelines with Docker/Podman and Helm.
• Automate configuration management with Ansible and Python.
• Collaborate with Release, Application, Cloud, Security, DB and Platform teams.
• Integrate database automation (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and security scans into pipelines.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, and maintain documentation; enable observability with Splunk.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Developer to drive CI/CD, automation, and platform engineering initiatives across the Investment Banking & Markets (IB&M) domain in a large enterprise services environment. The role focuses on building and operating robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure and application automation with cloud services, standardized release and deployment frameworks for multiple critical applications and exploring AI-assisted automation for operational intelligence. You need to have strong experience working across a complex application landscape, with a primary focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), release engineering, deployment automation, and operational utilities, while collaborating closely with Release Teams, Application Teams, and Service Teams.
