HME is looking for your talent! If you are a Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer, we would love to hear from you! In this role you will help us strengthen, automate, and scale our Azure cloud platform. The role combines DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, identity and access management, monitoring/alerting, and incident management. Experience with data analytics and Lakehouse platforms is a strong plus.

What you will do in the position:
  • Work closely with cross functional engineering teams to design and implement modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Own and improve release strategies, including building and managing release pipelines.
  • Implement best practices for security, identity and access management (Azure Entra ID), and compliance across the cloud environment.
  • Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, New Relic, and similar tools.
  • Lead incident management with troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to support and optimize data analytics and Lakehouse platforms including Azure Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Power BI.
  • Continuously improve the performance, security, reliability, and scalability of Azure based systems.
  • Analyze operational trends and system behavior to guide platform improvements.
  • Support automation, deployment, and operational workflows for modern data pipelines on Azure.
  • Document all deployment, monitoring, and operational processes and keep them updated.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong experience collaborating with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices.
  • Deep hands on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform across compute, networking, storage, IAM, and governance.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Python, PowerShell scripting/ Bash scripting
  • Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with observability tools (Any - Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, New Relic, etc.) for monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
  • Exposure to cloud data analytics and Lakehouse environments such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Delta Lake (nice to have).
  • Experience managing cloud data pipelines or analytics focused infrastructure (nice to have).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A mindset of continuous learning and staying current with DevOps and cloud technologies.
