Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the Fraud & Dispute team in a global payments setting. The role emphasizes AWS infrastructure, IaC, containerization, and middleware expertise to shape scalable, secure environments.

You will contribute to build and operate pipelines, manage hybrid cloud connectivity, and work across AWS and Azure platforms, with on-prem VMware experiences and middleware like WebLogic/Tomcat/MQ.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in AWS DevOps and cloud infra.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and on-prem concepts (VMware).

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure builds and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Architect and operate middleware like WebLogic, Tomcat, MQ.
• Implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation across AWS and Azure.
• Work with scripting (Shell, Groovy) and release tools (SonarQube, XLD/XLR).
• Ensure reliability with monitoring tools (ELK, Kibana) and DNS/VPC concepts.
