About the Role

You’ll join our 15-member Salesforce team within GBS, which works with stakeholders and developers worldwide. We handle complex Salesforce architecture and business needs, ensuring best practices and modern development patterns.

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Development Consultant who is collaborative, self-driven, and passionate about delivering cutting-edge Salesforce solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy robust solutions using the latest Salesforce technologies and DevOps best practices.

Technologies You’ll Work With
  • Salesforce Platform: Sales Cloud, CPQ+, Einstein AI (e.g., Prompt Builder, Agentforce), Data Cloud, Optional - Service Cloud, Experience Cloud

  • DevOps: Copado, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines

  • Development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce

  • Integration: SKYVVA, Salesforce APIs, External Services, Named Credentials

  • AI/Automation: Salesforce Einstein, Flow Orchestrator

  • UX: Lightning Experience, Dynamic Forms

  • Database: SOQL, SOSL

  • Agile Delivery: Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce orgs (Sales Cloud, CPQ+, and future Agentforce initiatives).

  • Lead technical design and delivery of large-scale Salesforce solutions, ensuring secure and scalable architecture.

  • Champion best practices in declarative development (Flows, Dynamic Forms) and programmatic customizations (Apex, LWC).

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Copado.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

  • Identify, design, and propose innovative improvements leveraging Salesforce’s newest AI and automation capabilities.

  • Support knowledge sharing and mentor junior developers.

  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, Trailblazer community best practices, and industry trends.

Expected Milestones

Within 3 Months:

  • Get up to speed on our multi-org Salesforce landscape and CI/CD workflows.

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and deployment cycles.

  • Deliver small to medium user stories independently.

By 3–6 Months:

  • Lead development tasks for medium to large features or enhancements.

  • Collaborate directly with product owners and architects to shape solutions.

  • Contribute to technical design documentation and peer code reviews.

By 6–12 Months:

  • Drive complex custom development projects and integration initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to refactor and optimize legacy implementations.

  • Contribute to strategic roadmap discussions and continuous improvement.

  • Actively support innovation by exploring new Salesforce features (e.g., AI Trust Layer, Prompt Builder, BYOLLM).

About You
  • Experience: 6–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development and solution design.

  • Certifications (Preferred): Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Copado Certified Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist.

  • Deep knowledge of Apex design patterns, secure coding practices, and Salesforce Governor Limits.

  • Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components and modern front-end best practices.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Data Model, Roles, Sharing Rules, Field-Level Security, and Permission Sets.

  • Familiarity with Einstein capabilities, Agentforce, and Prompt Builder is a plus.

  • Good understanding of integration best practices and API management.

  • Excellent team player with strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
