SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Developer - ServiceNow to design, develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HAM, and GRC.

You will collaborate with clients, lead workshops, translate requirements into stories, and deliver scalable platform implementations. Role blends hands-on development with advisory duties; build workflows, integrate external systems via REST/SOAP, support CMDB/CSDM, and contribute to testing, QA, and upgrade activities.

Qualifications

Role Summary

The ServiceNow Specialist II (Developer) serves as a critical bridge between client business requirements and the ServiceNow platform’s technical capabilities. This role is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that drive operational efficiency, automation, and measurable business outcomes. The Specialist II operates as both a technical contributor and client-facing advisor, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Consultation & Solution Design
• Lead discovery workshops to assess current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Translate business requirements into scalable, outcome-driven ServiceNow designs and user stories
• Recommend best practices and industry standards to optimize workflows and automation
• Platform Development & Configuration
• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications across modules such as ITSM, HAM and GRC
• Build and maintain workflows using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts
• Develop custom applications and enhancements using ServiceNow Studio and scoped applications
• Integration & Automation
• Architect and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub
• Automate complex business processes leveraging orchestration and event-driven architecture
• Ensure secure and reliable data exchange across enterprise systems
• Testing, Deployment & Quality Assurance
• Develop and execute unit tests, system tests, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Build automated test frameworks and regression testing strategies using ATF (Automated Test Framework)
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities
• CMDB & Data Integrity
• Support CMDB design, data modeling, and governance practices
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and alignment with CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Customer Engagement & Enablement
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing technical guidance and platform best practices
• Deliver knowledge transfer, training, and post-deployment support to client teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and project managers
