Job summary

MAX-HR-SOLUTIONS is seeking a Senior Integration Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade integration solutions using IBM ACE and API Connect.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure interfaces, REST/SOAP services, and robust API management.

The role emphasizes performance, troubleshooting, and adherence to security and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in IT/Computer Engineering with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of IBM ACE and API Connect.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, IBM MQ, API security and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable integration interfaces and message flows using IBM ACE.
• Implement transformation logic with ESQL, Java, and mapping nodes.
• Configure APIs in APIC, apply gateway policies and security controls.
• Troubleshoot issues using ACE traces and APIC logs.
• Prepare design documents, runbooks, and perform unit testing and deployments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and proper documentation.

Role & responsibilities

Job Overview: -

Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands‑on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise‑grade integration solutions using the IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) & API Connect (APIC). Candidate must possess sound knowledge in REST/SOAP services, IBM MQ, API security, and enterprise integration patterns. Candidate needs to work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions.

Job Requirement & Responsibilities: -

IBM ACE:

• Design and develop scalable integration interfaces, message flows, and sub-flows using IBM ACE.
• Write complex transformation and routing logic using ESQL, Java, and Graphical Mapping nodes
• Implement exception handling, transaction management, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using ACE user trace, service trace, and debugging tools.

APIC:

• Design, configure, and secure APIs (REST, SOAP) in IBM API Connect using YAML and Open API specifications.
• Implement API Gateway policies such as rate limiting, caching, header manipulation, security enforcement, and transformation.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including drafting, publishing, deprecating, and retiring APIs across multiple environments.
• Familiar with performance tuning, transaction management, error handling, logging, and exception handling
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during development phase using trace nodes, user traces, and system logs to resolve critical defects.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and documentation standards
• Participate in discussion with Business and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical design documents, code reviews, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Perform unit testing, SIT/UAT support, deployment, and post go-live support.

Preferred candidate profile ; An Engineering B.E/B. Tech (IT / Computer Engineer / Science) Graduate with 5 to 8 years relevant Experience.
