Job summary

Autodesk, Inc. is seeking a Developer Advocacy & Support engineer to evangelize, enable, and support developers building solutions on Autodesk Platform Services (APS) and related APIs.

You will create sample apps, tutorials, and demos, and provide triage for API integrations. Join a hands-on team that collaborates with product and engineering to improve APIs, shares runbooks, and uses generative AI to accelerate deliverables while maintaining quality and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering or developer-facing experience (web/cloud/native).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and modern web/cloud stacks; ability to produce clean, tested sample code.
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2 flows, service accounts) and secure integration practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior developer advocacy, developer support, or partner-facing engineering experience.
• Experience with APS/Forge, or familiarity with Autodesk product APIs (Revit, ACC/BIM Automation, Fusion).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python or .NET; Docker and cloud deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP, MCP server/client patterns, or agentic AI integration concepts is a plus.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
