To be successful as a Senior Developer, you should have experience with:

• Strong experience in full stack software development using Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x, Angular, React/Next.js, with proven expertise in designing and building cloud-native, scalable, and resilient applications.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted software engineering tools such as GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and AI development agents to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Proficiency in API development and integration, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SonarQube, Wiz, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and modern software engineering practices including automated testing, observability, and secure coding.
• Strong experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions across UI, API, and data layers using Angular, React/Next.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, troubleshooting, and cloud operations tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to define requirements and deliver business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, sprint planning, estimation, and ownership of end‑to‑end feature delivery.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

• Development and delivery of high‑quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
