This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer based in India.

As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated software solutions that support accessible, technology-driven mental healthcare services. You will play a key role in building reliable, scalable applications that make it easier for individuals to access professional psychological support through digital platforms. Working with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, React, Flutter, and Django, you will help deliver intuitive user experiences and robust backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, introduce new features, and resolve complex engineering challenges. In addition to hands-on development, you will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and establish best practices that improve code quality and delivery efficiency. Accountabilities:

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex software systems and applications.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, secure, and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
• Develop and enhance web and mobile applications using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, React, Flutter, and Django.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions, ensuring solutions meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders, designers, and engineering colleagues to define requirements, prioritize development activities, and deliver new features.
• Lead technical discussions, evaluate alternative approaches, and recommend solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Review code, conduct testing and debugging, and implement quality assurance practices to maintain high software development standards.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, share technical knowledge, and support the professional growth of engineering team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, engineering practices, and software delivery processes.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, collaborative development, and code management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams and implement effective, long-term solutions.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools and practices that improve development productivity, system reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of professional experience in web or mobile application development.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong software engineering and programming skills, with practical experience across multiple languages and technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with experience using frameworks and technologies such as React and Django.
• Experience with Flutter for cross-platform mobile application development.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for web application development and user interface implementation.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows using Git and GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, particularly GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
• Demonstrated ability to lead development initiatives, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, coding standards, testing methodologies, debugging, and code review practices.
• Proven ability to mentor developers, provide constructive technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
