Job summary

DeepHealth is seeking a Senior software engineer with 8–10 years of experience, preferably in healthcare, to design, develop, and maintain robust healthcare software solutions. The role requires expertise across front-end and back-end technologies, cloud platforms, DevOps, databases, and Agile methods.

You will develop RESTful APIs and microservices, work with React/Angular/Vue on the front end, and Node.js/.NET/Java/Python on the back end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare informatics, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years proven experience within a healthcare environment
• Hands‑on experience with PACS, HIS, and EMR systems.
• Proficient SQL skills and experience with database management.
• Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing projects. This role requires a high level of self‑motivation and prioritization
• Attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and security, handling large medical record datasets
• Front-End: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with backend technologies like Node.js, Java, Python, .NET, or Ruby
• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Hands‑on experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare integration protocols is a plus
• Proficient with tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, and code quality tools

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Ensure data consistency, performance tuning, and secure handling of healthcare data.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
