Job summary

Egis Bengaluru seeks a detail-oriented BIM Design Engineer specializing in road projects. You will use BIM to design and develop efficient road infrastructure in Bengaluru, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate alignment, drainage, and modeling details.

You will ensure compliance with standards, generate quantities, and maintain BIM execution plans while staying current with BIM technologies in road design at a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of BIM experience for road design projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit and InfraWorks.
• Strong 3D modeling, visualization and detailing skills.
• Knowledge of road design principles and standards.
• Familiarity with GIS software and its applications in transportation projects.
• Excellent CAD skills and ability to produce accurate design drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with transportation infrastructure projects.
• PE license preferred.
• BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred.
• Expertise in transportation engineering and infrastructure planning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D BIM models for road design projects using advanced software tools.

• Prepare detailed design documentation and technical reports.
