Job summary
Egis is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Design Engineer to join our Bengaluru team to design and develop road infrastructure using BIM tools. You will create and manage 3D BIM models, ensuring alignment, grading, and drainage are integrated and compliant with standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop BIM execution plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare detailed design documentation while staying current with BIM best practices in transportation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in BIM for road design projects
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Infraworks
- Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
- In-depth knowledge of road design principles and standards
- Familiarity with GIS software and its applications in transportation projects
- Excellent CAD skills and ability to produce accurate design drawings
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with transportation infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
- Expertise in transportation engineering and infrastructure planning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
