Job summary

Yash Engineering Consultants Pvt Ltd. is seeking a senior Project Manager (Civil) to lead the PMC team for design, construction and commissioning of storm water pumping stations in Navi Mumbai.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, technical oversight, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in water infrastructure, expertise in hydraulic modeling, and proficiency with EPANET, Info Works, AutoCAD, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Masters degree in PM, hydraulic engg, or related discipline is a plus.
• 8–10 years of experience in water and wastewater infra with storm water pumping stations.
• Proven hydraulic modeling experience.
• Proficiency in EPANET, Info Works, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.
• Strong understanding of construction supervision, QA/QC and contract management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC team overseeing the design, construction and commissioning of storm water pumping stations.
• Review and approve detailed engineering designs, especially in instrumentation, control systems, and hydraulic modeling.
• Monitor contractor progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Supervise the construction phase, including site inspections, technical reviews, and approval of work packages.
• Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring system functionality, reliability, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments and progress reporting.
• Implement quality assurance and HSE procedures during all project stages.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interface with municipal authorities or regulatory bodies where required.
• Drive project documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders.
