Job summary

AIC Steel in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design and detailing for PEB projects. You will analyze, design, and modify structural systems and connections, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes.

The role requires a Master’s in Structural Engineering (or B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical) and 5–12 years of relevant PEB experience. Proficiency with MBS Software is preferred, and you will support bid teams with proposal drawings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical engineering
• Should have 5-12 years of experience in the same field
• Should have experience in PEB projects
• Should have complete knowledge about designing PEB

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct preparation of design and detailing drawing of connections like moment connection, simple connection, bracings, splice connection, base plate weld details.
• Review the architectural and customer drawings and specifications / codes.
• Review and approve the General arrangement drawings.
• Provide support to Bid & Tendering Teams for Pre-Engineered Building, with proposal drawings.
• Analyse and resolve work problems or assist drafting sections.

• Design of Steel structure, Hard rolled Steel, Cold form Steel, and PEB Steel.
• Providing support to Bid & Tendering Teams for Pre-Engineered Building, with proposal drawings.
• Review the architectural and customer drawings and specifications / codes.
• Review and approve the General arrangement drawings.
