Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced Principal/Enterprise Architect for Databricks Data & AI Platform to lead architecture, design, and governance of enterprise-scale data and AI ecosystems. The role concentrates on Databricks platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, and performance optimization to enable AI-driven business transformation.

The candidate should bring deep expertise in data modelling, engineering, and ERP integrations, along with strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modelling, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms.
• Experience in security compliance (HIPAA/GDPR) and cloud infrastructure governance.

We are seeking an experienced Principal/Enterprise Architect – Databricks Data & AI Platform to lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise-scale data and AI ecosystems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Databricks platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, and performance optimization, while driving architectural best practices and enabling AI-driven business transformation.

What You\'ll Do:

• Define and lead enterprise-wide Databricks Data & AI platform architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data and AI solutions.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Drive platform optimization, security compliance (HIPAA/GDPR), and cloud infrastructure strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to accelerate AI and analytics initiatives.

Expertise You\'ll Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modelling, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong expertise in Workday (RaaS, EIB, Object Model), Salesforce, and ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or Microsoft NAV.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design with a deep understanding of data extraction and integration techniques.
• Strong experience in dimensional modelling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across complex enterprise data environments.
