Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure enterprise data platforms. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to define data strategies, governance, and future-ready architectures.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), and you will design Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse solutions while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Strong data modeling and cloud platform experience.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, and SQL/Python.
• Experience with governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead distributed teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise data architectures supporting analytics and digital transformation.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles.
• Strong expertise in designing enterprise data architectures and data management frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical).
• Expertise in ETL/ELT architecture and data integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with real-time and batch data processing architectures.
