Job summary

Amadeus is seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer in Pune to design, implement, and manage SQL Server databases. You will work with architecture and development teams to deliver scalable, highly available data solutions and review code quality.

You will optimize queries, implement Always On AG, and lead production support, incident resolution, and performance tuning. Proficiency with SSIS and Azure Data Factory is a plus, along with strong collaboration across SRE, Dev, and ops teams.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Expertise in T-SQL development and SQL code review.
• Experience with Always On AG, backup/DR strategies.
• Proven production support and incident troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SSIS and Azure Data Factory is a plus.

Job TitleSenior Database EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Database Engineer (DBE) with strong expertise in SQL Server development and administration . The role requires a blend of database engineering, performance optimization, production support, and high-availability design.
