Job summary

InfoBeans is seeking a seasoned PostgreSQL DBA to design and maintain high-availability PostgreSQL architectures. The role requires hands-on expertise with Patroni cluster management, pgBackRest backups, and connection pooling with PgBouncer.

Strong Linux skills and experience with Kubernetes or Nomad are essential. You will implement replication strategies, monitor DB health, and author runbooks for operations.

Qualifications

• Strong PostgreSQL expertise and HA architecture.
• Experience with Patroni cluster setup, management, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of DCS like ETCD, Consul, or ZooKeeper.
• Deep PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience configuring pgBackRest for backup and recovery.
• Hands-on with PgBouncer or pgpool pooling solutions.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL replication technologies and high-availability.
• Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools.
• Data replication using logical replication.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Nomad orchestration.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and SOPs.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration and architecture.


• Hands-on experience with Patroni cluster setup, management, and troubleshooting.


• Experience with ETCD, Consul, ZooKeeper, or other Distributed Configuration Stores (DCS).


• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization.


• Experience configuring and managing pgBackRest for backup and recovery.


• Hands-on experience with PgBouncer or pgpool database connection pooling solutions.


• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.


• Knowledge of PostgreSQL replication technologies and high-availability solutions.


• Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools.
