This is an exciting opportunity to be embedded within their Customer Experience Analytics team and drive data-led decisions at a truly global scale.
About The Role
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join customer's team and drive impactful machine learning solutions. You will work on complex, high-impact problems by turning ambiguous business challenges into clear quantitative frameworks and production-ready ML models. This role offers the opportunity to build, evaluate, and optimize models that directly influence product and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate machine learning models using techniques such as regression, classification, tree-based methods (e.g., Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM), and clustering on large-scale datasets
- Apply both supervised and unsupervised learning approaches to solve real-world problem
- Perform end-to-end model development: feature engineering, feature selection, model tuning, hyperparameter optimization, and rigorous model evaluation.
- Translate vague business requirements into well-defined data science problems and deliver actionable ML solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) to identify opportunities and measure impact.
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve existing solutions
Requirements
- Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying models for regression, classification, and clustering tasks
- Proficiency in feature engineering, feature selection, model tuning, and evaluation frameworks
- Strong programming skills in Python (required); expert with SQL and big data tools is expected.
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate business problems into quantitative, ML solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have
- Experience in product analytics and experimentation (A/B testing, causal inference).
- Prior exposure to search-related problems such as ranking, relevance, recommendation systems, or personalization.
