About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in forecasting, consulting, and Generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their business challenges, and delivering impactful AI-driven solutions particularly within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
• Design and implement advanced forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop and deploy Generative AI use cases relevant to enterprise needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, domain experts, and engineers to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Present complex analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply them to business problems.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in model development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on machine learning and statistical modeling.
• Proven experience in forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, etc.).
• Hands-on expertise in Generative AI techniques and tools (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, transformers).
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience working in or with clients from CPG or Manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting platforms or supply chain analytics is a plus.
