Job summary

Srijan: Now Material is seeking a Data Scientist to apply machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build AI engines and services. You will collaborate with business partners to define problems and hypotheses, and develop models integrated into analytical data products with support from a cross-functional team.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Python/R, and the ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning, statistics and data mining for clustering, classification and regression problems.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions in Digital Marketing and Product Management.
• Mine, transform and analyze data from different sources (CRM, Digital Analytics UI, external sources data).
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.
• Design, create, test and implement data models that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization.
• Apply A/B testing framework to test models' quality and integrate data insights into business processes.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models, design processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Role Summary

Data Scientist applies strong expertise in machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build AI engine and services. The data scientist collaborates with business partners to define the technical problem statement and hypothesis to test; develops efficient and accurate analytical models that mimic business decisions and incorporates them into analytical data products or tools with the support of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions in Digital Marketing and Product Management.
• Mine, transform and analyze data from different sources (CRM, Digital Analytics UI, external sources data).
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.

Domain Expertise

• MS/PhD (Computer Science or Electronics), or MS in Computer Applications, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years' experience in a statistical and/or data science/data analyst role.
• Experience in machine learning, statistics and data mining for clustering, classification and regression problems.
• Experience merging and transforming internal and external datasets to create new features.
• Experience with Python/R; Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
