Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Bengaluru to bridge supply chain and trade operations with advanced analytics and AI.

You will lead data science initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement automated analytics across global trade and logistics networks to drive efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Digital Transformation, or IT.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analytics methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, SAS, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Trade Compliance or Global Trade Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and digital transformation initiatives supporting Global Trade Management and Logistics Operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AI adoption.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable analytics and measurable business outcomes.
