Job summary

Experian India is seeking a Sr. Data Modeler to unlock data through advanced modelling and analytics, building predictive systems and automated scores integrated into our products.

You will apply data mining, statistical analysis, and ML techniques to deliver high-quality insights, supporting pre-sales, analytics, and product teams with scalable data solutions. Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms (Gradient Boosting, KNN, etc.)
• Knowledge of modelling frameworks (Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree)
• Hands-on experience with Python and SAS for statistical modelling and data analysis
• Applied statistics skills: distributions, hypothesis testing, regression
• Understanding of decisioning and portfolio management in banking/finance is advantageous
• Understanding of credit bureau is advantageous

Job description

We are looking for a Sr. Data Modeler to help us unlock our vast amounts of data with effective modelling and advanced analytics, helping us make smarter decisions and deliver even better products to our clients. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems and automated scores using machine learning, integrated with our products. You will also support our business teams, pre-sales and analytics to ensure optimal product creation.

Ideally suited to someone who has 5 to 8 years' experience core analytics function of a large bank / consulting firm and with experience on handling large data volumes using data analysis tools and generating good data insights.
