Job summary

Aspire, Jordan is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers to deliver reliable data architectures for analytics and BI.

Key responsibilities include building Databricks-based pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, data ingestion, and creating data models for reporting. Strong SQL, Spark, PySpark, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark and PySpark.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience
