Job summary

Chevron ENGINE in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Civil/Structural/Marine Engineer (CSME) to provide civil/structural design support for refining and LNG assets and brownfield projects. You will oversee design modifications, develop various deliverables, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while coordinating with other disciplines and EPC teams.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, a B.E./B.Tech.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Civil or Structural engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from AICTE-recognized university.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural and civil design and analysis, including brownfields projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure civil/structural designs for onshore/offshore facilities meet specs and codes.
  • Provide design support for Brownfield projects and conduct design studies.
  • Develop and check calculations/analyses and peer reviews.
  • Interface with other disciplines and Technical Authorities to resolve design queries.
  • Support assessment of Management of Change (MOC) requests.

Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.About the positionThe Civil/Structural/Marine Engineer (CSME) is a member of Chevron’s ENGINE Project & Design Engineering team providing civil/structural designs support to Chevron's Refining and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. This role is responsible for providing technical oversight of the structural/civil design modifications for Chevrons complex process facilities and for completing engineering design for projects <$3M.
