Job summary

Envision Consulting invites applications for a Senior Corporate Communications Lead in Mumbai. You will shape the corporate narrative, align messaging across divisions and build a strong reputation with key stakeholders.

You will work with senior leadership on strategic priorities, oversee external and internal communications, and guide PR, media relations and brand initiatives for hospitality, real estate or travel sectors. The role demands 12–18 years of experience and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Approximately 12 to 18 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, strategic communications or brand communications.
• Strong experience working with senior leadership and managing complex communication requirements.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing corporate communication strategies.
• Strong media relations and reputation management experience.
• Excellent writing, messaging and storytelling capabilities.
• Ability to manage communication across multiple businesses, brands, locations or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Communication Strategy: Develop and lead the overall corporate communication strategy; Build and strengthen corporate narrative, positioning and communication framework; Ensure consistent messaging across corporate, business and brand communication; Identify opportunities to enhance visibility and reputation among key stakeholders.
• Leadership & Strategic Communication: Work closely with senior leadership on key communication priorities; Support leadership communication, messaging, speeches and presentations; Develop narratives around business developments, growth initiatives, partnerships and milestones; Act as strategic communication advisor to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• External Communication & Media Relations: Lead corporate PR and media communication; Develop and maintain relationships with media; Work with PR agencies on proactive media opportunities and plans; Manage press releases, announcements, interviews and briefings.
• Internal & Stakeholder Communication: Develop and oversee internal communication initiatives; Ensure important company developments are communicated to employees and stakeholders; Work with HR, business and leadership teams on people and organizational communication.
• Brand, Business & Project Communication: Oversee communication for business developments, partnerships and campaigns; Provide communication oversight for key projects; Support special initiatives including art, culture and brand-building.
• Digital Communication Oversight: Provide strategic direction for digital and social media communication; Align with larger corporate and brand strategy; Review key campaigns and content.
• Agency & Partner Management: Manage PR, creative, digital agencies; Develop briefs and evaluate agency output; Manage budgets and build external ecosystem of media and partners.

Role & responsibilities

1. Corporate Communication Strategy

• Develop and lead the overall corporate communication strategy


• Build and strengthen the companys corporate narrative, positioning and communication framework.


• Ensure consistent messaging across corporate, business and brand communication.


• Identify opportunities to enhance Companies visibility and reputation among key stakeholders.

2. Leadership & Strategic Communication

• Work closely with senior leadership on key communication priorities.

3. External Communication & Media Relations

4. Internal & Stakeholder Communication

• Develop and oversee key internal communication initiatives.


• Ensure important company developments and leadership messages are communicated effectively to employees and relevant stakeholders.


• Work with HR, business and leadership teams on people and organisational communication where required.

5. Brand, Business & Project Communication

• Oversee communication for key business developments, hotel launches, partnerships and strategic initiatives.


• Work with different teams to identify and communicate relevant stories across the organisation.


• Provide communication oversight for key projects and campaigns.


• Support communication around special initiatives, including art, culture and other brand-building programmes, when relevant.

6. Digital Communication Oversight

• Provide strategic direction for the companies digital and social media communication.


• Guide the Digital Communications & Social Media resource on communication priorities, messaging and content direction.


• Ensure that digital communication is aligned with the larger corporate and brand communication strategy.


• Review key campaigns and content where appropriate.

7. Agency & Partner Management

• Manage PR, creative, digital and other communication agencies and partners.


• Develop communication briefs and evaluate agency output.


• Manage communication budgets and ensure effective utilisation of resources.


• Build a strong external ecosystem of media, creative and communication partners..

Preferred candidate profile

• Approximately 12 to 18 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, strategic communications or brand communications.


• Strong experience working with senior leadership and managing complex communication requirements.


• Proven experience in developing and implementing corporate communication strategies.


• Strong media relations and reputation management experience.


• Excellent writing, messaging and storytelling capabilities.


• Ability to manage communication across multiple businesses, brands, locations or stakeholders.


• Experience in hospitality, real estate, consumer businesses, travel, lifestyle or other high-growth sectors would be an advantage.


• Experience managing teams and agencies.


• Mature stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate independently at a senior level.
