Role Overview
The Senior Content Editor – Brand & Communication plays a critical role in shaping the brand voice of Ken Research across consulting, market intelligence, expert network, procurement benchmarking, and survey verticals.
This role is responsible for:
- Editorial leadership
- High-quality content creation

- Communication strategy

The ideal candidate should have strong editorial judgement, deep understanding of data and market trends, the ability to simplify complex consulting topics, and experience producing polished content for leadership-level audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Editorial Leadership & Content Quality Management
- Own editorial review for all public-facing and internal content, ensuring clarity, structure, accuracy, and impact.
- Maintain and enforce brand tonality, style guides, and communication standards.
- Edit, refine, and elevate content created by consulting, research, and marketing teams.
- Ensure content meets high standards of grammar, style, logic, and strategic intent.
2. Content Creation Across Formats
- Create and edit high-quality content, including consulting narratives, market intelligence insights, data-driven reports and summaries, leadership communication, thought leadership pieces, case studies, whitepapers, website and landing page content, email and communication scripts, social and brand messaging, product and service communication.
- Content must be clear, insight-driven, data-backed, aligned to industry trends, and representing a global consulting brand.
3. Data, Market Trend & Insight Interpretation
- Interpret market data and research insights to craft meaningful narratives.
- Translate industry trends into compelling content.
- Understand sector movements (BFSI, Healthcare, Industrial, Consumer, Tech, etc.).
- Collaborate with consulting teams to transform raw data into structured thought leadership.
- Ensure every piece of content has strategic clarity and market relevance.
4. Brand & Communication Strategy Support
- Contribute to the brand communication roadmap for Ken Research.
- Strengthen thought leadership positioning across global markets.
- Build consistent messaging across products, services, verticals, and channels.
- Support campaign messaging, communication frameworks, and brand storytelling initiatives.
5. Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with consulting, research, expert panel, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Understand ongoing projects to create context-rich content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for content strategy.
- Guide internal teams on writing best practices, content clarity, and structuring.
6. Quality Control, Accuracy & Timeliness
- Ensure logical flow, readability, terminology accuracy, and factual correctness.
- Maintain fast turnaround without compromising quality.
- Establish internal review processes.
- Train junior content writers (if applicable).
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
- 5–7 years in content writing, editing, brand communication, research communication, or editorial roles.
- Prior experience in consulting, market research, analytics, journalism, business communication, or insight-driven organizations preferred.
- Experience writing for leadership-level stakeholders (CXOs, strategy heads, investors) is an advantage.
Technical & Editorial Skills
- Strong editorial judgement and ability to simplify complex topics.
- Ability to understand and interpret data, market intelligence, research insights, and sector trends.
- Expertise in business writing, structuring long-form & short-form content.
- High proficiency in editing for tone, clarity, and strategic alignment.
- Ability to convert raw inputs into polished, well-designed narratives.
- Familiarity with content management and collaboration tools.
