Job summary

National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) seeks a Senior Consultant (Talent Development) to support planning and execution of sports talent identification programs. You will coordinate with coaches, Khelo India teams, NSFs, and other stakeholders to monitor onboarding, performance, and training compliance.

Responsibilities include developing sport-specific curricula, SOPs, and athlete development plans, and integrating sports science and analytics into programs.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or an equivalent management discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in sports talent identification and development programs.

• Coordinate with coaches, Khelo India teams, National Sports Federations (NSFs), and other stakeholders.
• Monitor athlete onboarding, performance, development, and training compliance.
• Develop and update sport-specific curricula, SOPs, monitoring reports, and athlete development plans.
• Support the integration of sports science, analytics, and athlete management systems into talent development programs.
• Monitor Khelo India training facilities and coordinate athlete and coach education initiatives.
• Conduct research on sports development best practices and prepare reports, presentations, and concept notes.
