Job summary

Hydro in Jaipur is seeking a Senior Consultant SAP PP & QM for S4/Hana to optimize and maintain our SAP landscape, troubleshoot issues, and lead upgrade initiatives.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP (ECC6/S4 Hana), strong knowledge of PP and QM, and collaboration with cross-functional teams; travel regionally or globally as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience (ECC6/S4 Hana) with hands-on application management.
• Strong knowledge of PP and QM modules with delivery of high-impact solutions.
• Experience across materials management, procurement, inventory/warehouse management, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance in SAP solutions, focusing on support and maintenance.
• Take ownership of ticket resolution and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SAP incidents and problems.
• Perform system analysis, design improvements to meet business requirements and interfaces.
• Conduct regular system audits for optimal SAP performance.
• Lead SAP upgrades and enhancements considering dependencies and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain SAP configuration documentation with manufacturing emphasis.
• Lead evaluation and configuration of order-to-cash processes to meet business needs.
• Support and maintain our clean core initiative using SAP best practices.
• Implement preventive measures to enhance stability of SAP processes.

Join our dynamic SAP support team as a Senior Consultant SAP PP & QM for S4 Hana, where you will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our SAP landscape. As a seasoned professional, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the smooth functioning of SAP systems, troubleshoot issues, resolving tickets promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance in SAP solutions, focusing on support and maintenance.
• Take ownership of ticket resolution, applying your problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SAP-related incidents and problems promptly.
• Perform system analysis, design, enhancements to meet business requirements and diverse interfaces.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance utilizing SAP best practices.
• Lead initiatives for SAP system upgrades and enhancements, considering dependencies and interface requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and procedures, emphasizing manufacturing intricacies and integration points.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and configuration of SAP order to cash solutions to meet business needs.
• Utilizing SAP best practices to support and maintain our clean core initiative.
• Take charge of implementing preventive measures within the SAP support processes to enhance stability and optimize business operations.
• Travel regionally or to other locations globally as and when need.

What will make you successful?

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role within SAP (ECC6 / S4 Hana) with hands-on application management
• Proven track record of extensive and senior-level experience in SAP, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of PP and QM module, with history of delivery high-impact solutions in a senior capacity.
• Strong candidates will have knowledge and experience with three or more of the following SAP areas: materials management, procurement, inventory warehouse management, sales operations, logistics, finance and controlling
• Strong continuous improvement, problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Integration experience integrating SAP with different business systems, especially MES systems, as well as with working with integration tools.

Industry Experience Experience in a discrete manufacturing and/or automotive environment is preferred

Education IT /Business Degree or Equivalent

Licensing/Certification SAP & ITIL Certification is preferred

Functional Knowledge Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes related to the business application(s) concerned

Technical Knowledge Understanding of technical environment of the business application(s) concerned

Language English (verbal and written)
