This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consultant - S&BT based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to support global technology transformation engagements and help organizations improve performance, efficiency, and business outcomes.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand complex challenges, analyze data, and develop practical transformation strategies.

The position combines strategy consulting, project delivery, data analysis, client interaction, and team leadership.

You will contribute to engagements spanning IT operating models, digital transformation, governance, sourcing, cost optimization, and organizational change.

Working alongside international consulting teams, you will take ownership of key workstreams while ensuring high-quality deliverables and measurable client value.

The role also provides opportunities to coach junior professionals and strengthen long-term client relationships through trusted advisory support.

It is well suited to an analytical, entrepreneurial consultant who enjoys solving complex problems and turning insights into actionable recommendations.

Accountabilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver assigned portions of client engagements within agreed budgets, workplans, quality standards, and timelines.
• Identify, structure, and resolve strategic and operational issues that are important to client success.
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful business insights, trends, and opportunities.
• Determine which data and findings matter most to clients and translate analysis into clear, compelling business stories.
• Develop effective data visualizations and presentation materials that make complex findings easy to understand.
• Structure and solve business and technology problems from initial assessment through recommendation and implementation.
• Develop well-supported conclusions, recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead client interviews and discussions to understand business challenges, requirements, and opportunities.
• Develop high-quality content for client presentations and provide relevant technical or functional expertise.
• Support implementation activities and help clients translate recommendations into practical business improvements.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to track assignment progress, address issues, and ensure alignment.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through consistent delivery of high-quality work.
• Lead, coach, develop, and supervise junior team members.
• Contribute expertise across areas including IT operating models, digital transformation, application strategy, IT outsourcing, benchmarking, governance, organizational change, business relationship management, cost reduction, digital literacy, and agile IT operations.
• Collaborate with international consulting teams, particularly colleagues based in the United States, to support global engagements.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in strategy or transformation consulting, excluding primarily system-integration roles, or progressive experience in IT leadership positions.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with clients on assessments, analysis, problem framing, problem solving, solution identification, initiative prioritization, roadmap development, or transformation implementation.
• Outstanding analytical capabilities, with a strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate meaningful insights.
• Experience working with data modeling, data visualization, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Solid understanding of business strategy and operations within relevant industries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous or complex challenges into actionable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence working directly with client stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of collaborative project teams.
• Experience leading interviews, developing presentations, and communicating recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in technology transformation areas such as IT strategy, governance, operating models, digital transformation, sourcing, or process improvement.
• MBA or another relevant advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a related field from a strong educational institution is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial, creative, imaginative, resourceful, motivated, professional, and collaborative approach.
• Candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred, while candidates elsewhere in India may be considered if willing to travel periodically to Hyderabad.
• Willingness to work afternoon through late-evening India Standard Time hours to provide approximately 3–5 hours of overlap with U.S.-based teams.
