Job summary

VML, a leading global creative company, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer in India to strengthen automation across web apps and API tests. You will develop and maintain test scripts using Selenium and TestProject, ensure migration tests, and drive quality through the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium and TestProject for test scripting.
• Experience with REST API automation using REST Assured.
• Proficient in Java with TestNG and Maven.
• Experience withSaucelabs and BrowserStack for cross‑platform testing.
• Proficient in Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and CI pipelines.
• Familiarity with Selenium Grid and Docker.
• Experience using JIRA to track stories and defects.
• Ability to design data‑driven automation frameworks.

Roles and responsibilities:

8+ yrs of Automation with EDS exp

• Attend scrum calls
• Understand requirements
• Should develop functional test scripts using selenium, TestProject
• Should execute migration test cases with available framework and make changes wherever necessary
• Drive features through SDLC and take it closure
• Document issues, observation
• Work with different teams
• Should be able to review code
• Should be able to work with stake holders

Desired candidature:

• Should be a quick learner
• Should have test automation experience of at least 3 years
• Good to have worked on AEM sites
• Should have automated API's using rest assured
• Should have worked on TestProject for at least 0-1 years
• Should have worked on Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven, Saucelabs, log4j, Git and GitHub for 1-4 years
• Should have worked on data driven framework
• Should be able to use Jenkins to trigger tests
• Should have working knowledge of selenium grid
• Should be able to use saucelabs/BrowserStack for testing on different platforms and devices
• Should be able to use JIRA for tracking stories and defects
• Deliver on time
• Should have keen attention to detail
• Should have knowledge on docker
