Job summary

Lilly in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Consultant – Project Manager within Global Learning Content Services (GLCS). You will lead strategic learning content initiatives and partner with stakeholders across regions.

Job Summary

As a Senior Consultant – Project Manager within Global Learning Content Services (GLCS) at Eli Lilly and Company, you will be instrumental in leading and executing strategic learning content initiatives. This role requires a blend of business acumen, leadership, and project management expertise to drive impactful learning solutions across our global organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex global learning content projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with stakeholders across various functions and regions to understand learning needs and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Drive change leadership within learning content development processes, fostering adoption of new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Utilize data literacy to analyze project performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize content effectiveness and delivery.
  • Exercise sound decision-making in navigating project challenges, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, ensuring alignment with GLCS and company objectives.
  • Exert strategic influence on key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gain consensus, secure resources, and champion innovative learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with content developers, instructional designers, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of learning materials.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and successes clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
  • Demonstrated Business Competence with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and corporate learning needs.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture effective Business Partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of successful Change Leadership in implementing new processes or technologies within a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong Data Literacy skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and use analytics to inform project decisions.
  • Excellent Decision Making capabilities, with a history of making sound judgments under pressure and in ambiguous situations.
  • Highly developed Strategic Influence skills, capable of persuading and motivating others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on learning and development or content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Education, Project Management) or equivalent practical experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-functional teams.
