Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Senior Consultant Internal Audit & SOX in India to lead end-to-end SOX engagements, from planning through testing and documentation. You will design, implement, and assess internal controls and control testing procedures for financial reporting compliance.

The role requires expertise in COSO 2013, risk management, and strong mentorship for the team, delivering measurable improvements in control reliability and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Statistics with a master’s in Business Administration or Risk Management is expected.
• Proven experience in Internal Audit and Sox engagements including control testing and process documentation.
• Familiarity with COSO 2013 framework and enterprise risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX engagements from conceptualization to implementation and testing of controls.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and mentor the team on internal controls and risk management.

In this role you will be responsible for working on projects encompassing the entire gamut of Sox from conceptualization to designing to implementation of the entire SOX program including documentation and control testing evaluating internal controls reliability of financial reporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations and effectiveness and efficiency of operations including cost management. This should be a detailed SOX framework implementer role.
