Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Senior Consultant Data Analytics to lead audit analytics and manage analytics-driven projects for global clients. The role involves understanding business processes, building analysis logic, and delivering high‑quality reports for auditors.

You will write and optimize data scripts, review results for false positives, and collaborate with clients to drive insights. Travel up to 30% may be required, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Statistics; MBA or Risk Management preferred.
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate data into insights.
• Experience with audit analytics and risk management frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit analytics projects and manage deliverables for varied clients.
• Conceptualize logic to analyze potential risk scenarios and assess controls.
• Build and optimize scripts and data pipelines for analysts and auditors.
• Engage with clients, present findings, and support onsite/offsite meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project risk assessments.
• Travel as required within India and overseas to support engagements.

Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Consultant Data Analytics. In this role you will be responsible for performing and managing projects involving audit analytics.

• Understanding of business processes and potential risk scenarios.
• Ability to conceptualize appropriate logic for analyzing potential risk scenarios
• Ability to understand requirements clearly and to be flexible in learning new data sources and technologies meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality reports for auditors.
• Maintain strong client focus by building positive relationships with clients scheduling conducting and speaking publicly on key client meetings.
• Should be able to write/optimize complex scripts in the technology of expertise.
• Should be able to review results and identify false positives basis business understanding.
• Should be a self-starter and eager to solve a business problem using his experience and skills
• Play a key role in the development of less experienced staff through mentoring training and advising.
• 30% Travel in India and Overseas if required
• Superb communication skills and willingness to stretch and multi-task
• May be assigned on a project on a long term basis
• Include handling projects involving audit analytics and continuous control monitoring.
• Understanding of business process (Accounts Payable Revenue Fixed Asset Inventory MJ Es) from analytics requirements.
• Understanding of ER Ps (SAP JDE Oracle Concur etc.)
• Have worked on data analytics support work either as tool implementation automation of control or MIS development
