Job summary

EY in Mumbai is seeking a Python Fullstack developer to design, build, and scale modern financial services applications focused on Capital Markets and Trade Surveillance. You will work across the stack, integrating with trading platforms and market data feeds, while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years of full-stack experience, strong Python expertise (FastAPI/Flask/Django), and frontend skills (Angular/React/JS/TS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack Application Development.
• Strong programming expertise in Python with experience in FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets domain and trade lifecycle.
• Experience in Trade Surveillance, Market Surveillance, Market Abuse Monitoring, or Regulatory Compliance platforms.
• Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, or related Capital Markets products is preferred.
• Experience working with SQL/Relational databases and large-volume data processing.
• Proactive, takes ownership, and able to work with minimum guidance.
• Ability to identify and analyze information quickly and efficiently; leverage innovative and creative solutions to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Good written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
