Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking an Associate for their Renewable Energy division. The role involves providing technical due diligence, financial analysis, and support in drafting renewable energy policies. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Renewable Energy sector and a B.Tech + MBA or M.Tech. This full-time position may require travel across India.

Qualifications

• Prior Renewable Energy (RE) sector experience of at least 3 years.
• Experience in dealing with government clients or client-facing roles will be an advantage.
• Experience in Renewable Energy consulting or related field is preferred.

• Experience of working with Govt. entities/PSUs, project monitoring, etc.
• Bio-energy, Solar, Green Hydrogen
• Tracking national and state level policies and regulations in Renewable energy sector
• State-wise comparative analysis of policies and regulations
• Support in drafting of renewable energy policies
• Financial analysis of various business ventures in the Renewable Energy sector
• Handholding client in new areas e.g. use of AI and ML in the renewable energy sector
• Prior experience in management consulting
• Worked on feasibility studies/bid advisory for RE projects, business plans, financing for renewables energy projects
• Experience with solar parks, pumped hydro storage, floating solar, energy storage, e-mobility, green Hydrogen

Mandatory Skill sets:

• Competent in preparing presentations (MS PPT) and report writing
• Competent in financial analysis and modelling (MS Excel)

Preferred skill sets: Consulting background, Renewable Energy.

Experience in dealing with government clients or client-facing roles will be an advantage.

Note: This is a client consulting role which would require travel to PAN India locations as per project requirements.
