Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking a Senior Associate for general advisory services focused on renewable energy policy, regulatory matters, and government engagements. You will work on projects that help clients navigate regulatory complexity and energy transition opportunities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with government bodies, private sector clients, and cross-functional teams to deliver strategy, contracts, and risk management across diverse energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing 5+ projects covering policy and/or regulatory matters.
• Experience supporting central government agencies / state nodal agencies on renewable energy.
• Knowledge of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Experience of having managed 5+ projects covering policy and / or regulatory matters
• Supporting central government agencies/state nodal agency/state department/ DISCOMs on renewable energy.
• Worked on new age REs like RE RTC/FDRE/Energy storage technology like ESS, PSP etc
• Well verse with Green Hydrogen and its derivatives
• Supported private sector in Renewable energy areas viz., auctions, strategy led engagements, prepared / reviewed contracts and agreements
• Assisted private and Govt agencies in renewable energy transition, project monitoring works
