Job summary

Dar, a leading multidisciplinary consulting organization, seeks a Lead Acoustics Engineer/Architect to drive architectural acoustics design for major projects in Pune. The role requires autonomous delivery, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to achieve high-quality outcomes.

You will lead acoustics, noise & vibration control, mentor junior teams, and develop documentation while ensuring budget and schedule alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or engineering with basic knowledge of acoustics.
• 8+ years of experience in acoustics design with demonstrated project leadership and BIM proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acoustics, noise & vibration control design across disciplines.
• Lead coordination and resolution of complex acoustics design issues.
• Engage directly with clients to present designs and gather feedback.
• Guide design teams to ensure quality, compliance, and innovation.
• Develop acoustics design documentation including drawings and reports.
• Foster collaboration across project teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Promote best practices in acoustics, noise & vibration control and sustainability.

Job Summary:

Lead architectural Acoustic design delivery for major project segments with autonomy. Engage clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality design outcomes that align with project goals and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee acoustics, noise & vibration control design development and integration across disciplines.
