Job summary

Policybazaar.com is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager Compliance to lead end-to-end regulatory compliance across the organization. You will monitor regulatory changes, maintain trackers, implement new requirements, and coordinate with internal teams and external counsels.

The role involves supporting regulatory/legal compliances, audits, contract reviews, and ensuring ongoing legal conformity of the company’s website and processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of corporate law and insurance/SEBI/RBI regulations a plus.
• Ability to conduct regulatory reviews and remediation planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong reasoning.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end compliance management and fostering a compliance culture.
• Track regulatory changes and ensure trackers are updated; implement requirements.
• Assist in regulatory/legal compliances and audits as needed.
• Conduct compliance reviews and prepare remediation reports with plans.
• Manage contract vetting, negotiations, and renewal follow-ups.

Role Overview:

Job Role: Manager/ Senior Manager Compliance

Experience- 6-8 Years

Role and Responsibilities:

• End to end compliance management and ensuring a compliance culture in the organization.
• Keeping track of all regulatory changes/laws impacting the business of the company. Ensuring trackers are updated, new requirements are implemented in the Company and the requirements are continuously tracked through the compliance tool.
• Responsible for assisting in regulatory / legal compliances along with regulatory and statutory audits on need basis.
• Conducting compliance reviews of critical areas and preparing a report along with the remediation plan.

Other Responsibility Areas -

• End to end contract management (vetting, negotiating and execution of agreements including strategic agreements).
• Maintenance and regular review of all executed agreements with renewal follow-ups with business.
• Periodic review and ensuring legal compliance of company’s website.
• Maintaining good co-ordination with all internal departments of the company and liaise with external counsels for regulatory work as and when required.
• Other tasks that may be specified from time to time.

Requirements and skills -

• Law degree from a reputed college / university.
• Post qualification experience of 6 to 8 years working in regulatory compliance departments of corporates / law firm. Experience of working in the regulatory compliance department of fin tech companies will be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures. Knowledge of insurance / SEBI / RBI regulations will be an added advantage.
• Sound legal reasoning with an ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
• Outstanding communication skills, self-starter with an ability to meet deadlines in a competitive environment.
