Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking qualified medical coders to accurately translate diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes. The role requires 2+ years of experience, a Life sciences background, and certification from AAPC or AHIMA (CPC/COC/CCS).

You will work independently and with a coding team to maintain high quality and productivity. The position involves daily target-driven coding, regular QA interactions, and participation in team meetings to ensure adherence to client

• Strong ability to interpret medical records across specialties.
• Able to work with speed and accuracy while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transforms medical diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure daily coding volumes meet turnaround time with >95% accuracy.
• Interact with team lead and QA analyst; participate in weekly QA/team meetings.
• Understand workflow and criteria for assigned client; meet monthly targets.
